I discovered this video by accident and I fell in love. The song is a parody of a weak as hell Black Eyed Peas effort but don't let that put you off because these ladies have great singing voices and lyrics that simply bubble with wit.
Upon visiting their Myspace I discovered that Nola Darling consists of Alex and Jaq, two New York Univeristy graduates who possess the sass of 90's hip hop legends Salt N Pepa but display much greater lyrical prowess. Fuck Beyonce's watered down rubbish about marriage. Step to Me should be every single woman's anthem.
These ladies deserve a record deal for their charisma alone.
